Rules of the game
To determine who goes first, each player throws two dice.
The highest total goes first.
• The aim of the game is to reach your opponent’s goal
before your opponent reaches your goal.
• If black throws a double, a 7, or an 11, the black counter
is moved one space closer to white’s goal or the white
counter is moved one space back towards its own goal.
• If white throws an odd total, then the white counter can
be moved one space towards black’s goal or the black
counter moved one space back towards its own goal.
• The players take turns to throw the dice.
